Delivery Cost

We offer Free delivery to anywhere in Ireland on orders with a value of €50 or more. On orders under €50 there will be an additional postage cost of €4.99

United Kingdom & Europe- We do not currently ship outside of Ireland.

Order Processing Time

Online orders are processed from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Your order will be prepared for dispatch from our warehouse within approximately 2-3 working days. Once dispatched you will receive an update by email.

Selecting the Store Collection option will not decrease processing times as all orders placed online are processed in our warehouse.

We make every effort to deliver all your items together, however in some cases your order may arrive in separate consignments.

If an order is placed for items which are reprinting or awaiting stock then this may take longer. If this happens, we will notify you by email or phone, as depending on the time frame it may be better to hold your delivery until all items are available.

Home Delivery – Delivery by Courier

We use the courier service from GLS to deliver within Ireland. GLS ( has a tracking system that allows you to track your delivery. Once your parcel leaves our warehouse, we will send you an email update. When the parcel arrives in the GLS hub, you will receive an email from GLS with tracking information. Delivery from this point takes approximately 1-2 working days.

Store Collection

If the Store Collection option is selected, you will receive an email with your order confirmation and store details. A second email will be sent as soon as your order has arrived in the nominated store and is ready for collection. When you arrive in store, please be aware, there is no specific collection point for collecting orders. There may be a queue when you arrive, please join the queue and a member of staff will retrieve your order using the order number from your email confirmation you received. You can also find your order number by checking the Order History on your account.

All orders placed online, even for store collection, are processed in our warehouse.

Staff in our HSB stores do not fill any online orders and can only see the order number and your name for collection purposes.

Email your School Booklist for In-Store Collection Only

If you would prefer to deal with the shop directly and collect your order in-store. Why not email us your booklist before you visit? For more information, please see Email Your Booklist Form

Please allow 1 to 2 working days to fill your order. Sorry, we are unable to give you the total cost before collection as your order is not scanned through the till until you arrive. Click here for store information and opening hours.

Alternatively, you can call in-store with your booklist and they will fill it there and then.
Both stores are open (Find Our Stores) and staff will be happy to assist you.

If you are going on holidays

If you think you may be away during our approximate delivery time frame, we can put a hold on shipping your order until you have returned. In the Review and Payment stage of your order there is an option to “Leave a Comment”. You can enter the dates you will be away and we will make a note not to send your order between those dates.

Alternatively, you can provide a different shipping address at checkout.

We use a registered delivery service from GLS to deliver within Ireland. If you enter a home delivery address, please ensure that there is someone available to accept the delivery as a signature is required.

 If you add a delivery note to your order (e.g., Leave in porch if nobody is home), we will make a note of it on the box but we can’t guarantee instructions will be followed as the package may need to be signed for.

We monitor our delivery partners and our experience is that delivery is successful in 99% of cases. However, on occasion human error may cause a package to be misdirected. If a parcel is showing as being delivered but you have not received it, please Contact Us

We use minimal packaging while also making sure that your items arrive in perfect condition. Our packaging is made from FSC 100% recycled paper (post-consumer waste). We also reuse boxes and packaging we receive from suppliers.

Once you have received your order, please check the items against the invoice. We suggest that before you pack away your items and enjoy the summer, you double check your order against your school booklist to ensure you have everything needed for the coming school year.
